I love how you expressed your “journey” to realizing that you don’t fit it but you also don’t mind. As another solo parent (but widowed and no divorced) it’s hard to explain to coupled parents what your life looks like. And the wanting to move to that neighborhood is something I get- we moved out of the city when my 2nd daughter was a month old, and my husband died less than 2 years later. I had to decide if staying was what I wanted (and so far I’m still here!). Thank you for sharing!
